Renewable energy and its impact on rural development (November 2009)
The reports "Renewable energy and its impact on rural development " were prepared in 2009 under the supervision of Axel Wolz and Gertrud Buchenrieder from IAMO.
The reports provide a picture of the relevance and utilisation of renewable energy potential and its potential impact for rural communities in the 20 countries involved in the AgriPolicy project. Each report provides an overview of the use of renewable energies, a review of national policy and insights on its impact on the agricultural sector. A synthesis report builds on the findings of the 20 country reports and provides an overview of the work.
